We expect all our athletes and their parents to adhere to our Code of Conduct.

All junior members must train and compete within the rules and respect officials and their coach and their decisions.

All juniors must respect other competitors.

Juniors must keep to agreed times for training and competitions or inform their coach if they will be late.

Be a good sport. Applaud your squad mates whether you are competing against them or not.

Participate for your own enjoyment and achievement – not just to please your parents or coach.

Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all your squad team mates and other members of the community regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion.

To conduct yourself in an appropriate manner so as to not bring any disrepute to yourself, your family, team mates, Triathlon WA or Eclipse Performance Centre & Eclipse Academy.

  • NO HEAD PHONES on any of Eclipse PC rides.

  • Cycling requires 100% concentration. If talking, chatting or other activities take your mind off the road, please stop. If you are distracted by that behaviour, ask your peer to stop. Those who continue to be distracted or distract others after being asked to stop will result in a strike

  • Be conscious of your riding space and others. This includes braking distance, over taking etc.

  • Obey & follow the road rules.

  • Be courteous & caring.

  • If an accident occurs, check in on the other rider involved. Check on them and support them

  • Listen to the coaches instructions at all times

Repeated failure to adhere to the above rules will result in the following:-

  • A first offence is a suspension of one week’s cycling sessions.

  • A second offence is a suspension of two week’s cycling sessions.

  • A third offence is a suspension of a month’s cycling sessions and a discussion with your parent will be had.

Code of Conduct – Parents

All concerns must be directed to the coach.
